Synopsis

My father was 91 years old when he contracted COVID and developed pneumonia during the summer of 2023. He was very healthy, but the illness happened quickly. He was gone within ten days of getting sick. I’m the only daughter, and we were very close. So close, in fact, that we were really struggling with the thought of parting from each other as the reality of his situation took a turn for the worse. He wasn’t getting better, and the doctors were preparing us for the inevitable. I contacted family and made arrangements for everyone to come see him. I left my dad for a few hours to prepare for the guests, and when I came back, this video is what he told me. His last wish was that I share his message with the world, to give people hope for better things to come.
