In a last-ditch effort to save his career, Mark, a veteran television executive, enlists the help of three fledgling influencers to produce a hit. After a not-so-successful search for his billion-dollar show, Mark takes a chance on a pitch entitled "Chainsaw Monkey." Fast forward eight months and "Chainsaw Monkey" has taken the world by storm, winning him several esteemed awards. However, as Mark accepts these accolades, he feels empty, his success only proving that television is dead.
