On a hot day, financial manager He Wei was suddenly fired from his company just before his retirement. Furious, He Wei decided to turn himself in with the company's illegal account books, but before doing so, he decided to first send his 80-year-old mother with Alzheimer's to a nursing home. On the way, he received phone calls from the company and his ex-wife, and then was bombarded with his mother's endless nagging. He Wei's mind began to waver, and he found himself in a difficult decision.
