Firewatcher is a short psychological thriller where a young boy, Carson Reed, is the only survivor of a house fire that he started while playing with matches, resulting in the death if his parents. After he survived the fire, he was left with disfiguring burn scars and deep psychological scars from the loss of his parents. This experience has left him withdrawn and homicidal that has developed into a disturbing hobby of collecting trophies in the form of Polaroid photos and newspaper articles of fires he has started that also took other lives.
