Synopsis
A daughter plans solo travel for the first time, on her mother’s terms. The video explores privilege, entitlement, racism and the effects of climate change. “Mother’s Travel Tips” was originally a 3D diorama installed in a light box in Davis’ front garden, part of a large diorama making project that has been going since November 2022. This is the first video from a diorama.
