Synopsis
PRINCE ALI is a dramatic story about an Iranian-American man suffering from a mid-life crisis who visits his homeland of Iran to meet and wed a young Iranian woman played by Sheila Vand (A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT). My co-writer, Max Borenstein (GODZILLA) and our producers, Angel Lopez & Julia Lebedev (DEAR WHITE PEOPLE) and I aim to explore the complicated and sometimes destructive interactions between diverse civilizations in a modern world, within the context of the turbulent emotions of a man at breaking point.
