Synopsis

After a year and a half of filming, Frederico Füllgraf releases this feature-length documentary focusing on the families displaced from their land, condemned to submersion by the future reservoir of the Itaipu Hydroelectric Plant. Important records of social movements and the leaders involved in the struggle for life and for productive land for those whose destinies were harshly altered by the plant unfold in a vital journey preserving the memory of one of the greatest disasters in the history of Paraná.
