Synopsis
In a village nestled among the mountains, SAMIN (26) and KILLAY (16) live by cultivating the land and selling their produce at the local market. Despite the hardships, they find comfort and strength in their sisterly bond. However, their peace is threatened by the prejudice and intolerance of the villagers, who humiliate and mistreat Samin because of her gender identity. When a violent encounter with the locals leaves Samin seriously injured, the sisters are forced to cling to the hope of a new dawn.
