Fires We Tend is a dialogue-driven short film about two young creatives—Emilia, a med student torn between science and art, and Alejandro, a Chilean actor confronting doubt and devotion. Set across a sun-dappled park and a quiet café, the film unfolds in real time as their unplanned encounter leads to a vulnerable and deeply human exchange.

Through wit, challenge, and honesty, they face the tension between identity and expectation, healing and performance, fear and courage. Neither one offers the other a solution—but what they leave with is something even more powerful: permission to keep tending their fire.
