Synopsis
A 1986 film about open sea sprimp fishing in Florida, showing the techniques, rituals, and superstitions of the African American, Anglo, and Mediterranean fishermen. Included is documentation of the building of a wooden spring boat, and of the various kinds of nets that were developed for the open sea.
