A young woman-(Harper) and her best friend both from Las Vegas drive to visit her mom in a small California town when her friend goes missing. Harper hires an old private investigator-(Rex) who is good at finding the missing. As Rex and Harper search for her missing friend, Rex gets a feeling Harper is not telling all that is going on.
