The film "Do’s and Don’ts" is a five-minute monologue by a young woman, which suddenly turns into a confession of murder in the end.
She talks about things she believes are “alright”. Like buying uncomfortable, but beautiful shoes, filling her closet with too many books she falls in love with … Then she tells about a man who charmed her, inspired her, and made her feel that he was the one, who would make her impossibly happy.
As she shares how she felt then, she softly hums a few words from the song. She is certain that if this man had stayed with her, she would have learned everything she hadn't yet mastered — including singing.
But then, he tries to rape her, and she kills him in self-defense. In the final scene, a forensic officer admits that she doesn't care how it all happened and advises the woman to tell her story to the detective.
