Synopsis
Nine-year-old Serbian girl Yulia Nikolaich mourns on the ruins of her native city of Ilidza. She begs adults not to shoot at her land, not to destroy her home, not to kill her relatives, her childhood, her fairy tale. But the adults do not listen, and blood is shed, and hatred fills the soul. The film covers the peacekeeping forces in Yugoslavia, the Ukrainian battalion in Sarajevo, and its help in restoring peace in the region.
