Based on the extensive career of Montreal therapist and professor Bonnie Harnden, YOU ARRIVE is an educational docu-drama that explores how to break free from the cycles of trauma that impact our lives, our children’s lives, and our relationships. This innovative, experimental genre exposes advanced trauma theory. Bonnie's real life experiences working with hundreds of families in the emergency room are embodied in the character of a therapist struggling with vicarious trauma. The film represents a cathartic therapy session. As the therapist guides her client, she comes to terms with her own traumatic past, and ultimately realizes she possesses the gift of therapy.
