This documentary narrates the different stages through which the Peruvian cumbia genre has passed. The story is told by the leading musicians of this movement, such as Jaime Moreyra and Julio Simeón from the group Los Shapis, Edilberto Cuestas from Los Ecos, Jorge Rodríguez from Los Mirlos, “Tito” Caycho from Los Destellos and Rossy War, among others equally outstanding.
