FILM SYNOPSIS: THE HATCH
A young Cadet on a massive, isolated ocean freighter performs his routine checks long after sunset, ignoring the ship's cardinal rule. This night, his mandatory duties lead him to the deep, cluttered silence of the ship's storage room.
When a few whispers and a jarring, metallic bang erupts from an old, sealed hatch, the Cadet dismisses it as nothing more than the wind or the ship's shifting hull. However, the light sources begin to fail, and the psychological reality of his isolation shatters as he realizes an unseen supernatural entity is actively breaching its confinement.
Now trapped in the absolute darkness of the Bosun store, the Cadet is forced into a terrifying, close-quarters confrontation, proving that the deepest dangers at sea aren't always found in the water.
