A comedy mockumentary following freelance archaeologist, Robert, and Charlie, his son, as they desperately try to unearth something important enough to get them in the newspaper. When Charlie stumbles upon the discovery of a lifetime, Robert scrambles through the absurd and the tedious in an attempt to outdo him. Under the pressures of passion and familial tension, Robert looks to drastic measures - turning his attention (and his shovel) towards a nursing home - eventually finding himself front-page in the local news for his crimes.
