An autumn morning walk to school through gentrified Berlin. Her girlfriend Mia mustn’t find out what Alex (17) discovered this morning: she’s pregnant.
Alex vainly tries to reach the child’s father, but he doesn’t answer the phone. Now all she can do is distract herself. She cancels plans with Mia and spends the day selling weed to classmates.
But as rumors about her affair begin to circulate in Alex’s environment and a drug deal with the father of a classmate crosses her boundaries in an unpleasant way, her facade begins to crumble.
Mia, increasingly irritated by Alex’s evasive maneuvers, feels rejected and overlooked. During an evening spent together at a dance bar, the situation escalates. More rumors circulate, Alex overreacts — and pushes Mia away for good.
Left alone on an empty train platform, she loses herself in an ecstatic, imagined dance where memory, desire, and reality merge.
