Baraa, a young Palestinian living in Egypt, is haunted by memories of war in Gaza and the guilt of leaving his family behind. As he struggles to adapt to life with his cousin Abood, he clings to a single object, a photo of his mother, as his only sense of home.

When the photo goes missing, buried emotions erupt into a painful confrontation between them. Moments later, Baraa receives devastating news about his mother, pushing him into panic, helplessness, and emotional collapse.

Alone on a rooftop, unable to reach his family, Baraa spirals between memory and reality, until his grief transforms into a raw, poetic dance to the lyrics of “Bayn al-Buyut,” reliving fragments of war and the ruins he carries within him.
