TYCO TOYZ NOT FOR PSYCHO BOYZ

Synopsis
The short film TYCO TOYZ NOT FOR PSYCHO BOYZ is a contemporary, gothic children's fairy tale told through a dark, comedic song. It transports us into a day-glow but dangerous world in which a young boy named Milo revels in domination and violence and lack of remorse and false charm and a preternatural ability to manipulate others.
When the story opens, Milo has summoned a whimsical and unsettling trickster figure to tell his story for him. Milo then follows the trickster into a magical realm where he's offered a choice to confront the architecture of his own identity ... or not to.
The story provides no moral lesson. It fully defines no characters. It offers no explanation. Equal parts Roald Dahl, Maurice Sendak, and the Zen Koans, TYCO TOYZ presents us with the darkness that hides under bright colors, and the bright colors that mask the darkness beneath them.
