A fiercely independent Florida bait-shop family wages guerrilla economic warfare on the soulless corporate mega-chain across the highway - armed with hand-poured rubber frogs, cold sweet tea, and a deadpan six-year-old tactical mastermind.
BAIT & SWITCH is a 3D-CGI animated comedy in a warm, feature-animation style. On a sun-bleached stretch of Florida panhandle highway, the Vance family runs Waylon's Quick-Stop & Bait — a rundown gas-station-and-bait-shop held together by pride and sweet tea. When Mega-Mart Gas & Slush drops a neon superstore directly across the two-lane, the Vances refuse to fold. Outspent and outnumbered, they answer corporate "synergy" with pure guerrilla heart: Waylon's get-rich schemes, the kids' shadow operations, and six-year-old Roxy — sunglasses on, leverage in hand.

In the pilot episode, "The Great Bait Bait-and-Switch," Waylon panic-raffles his dented skiff as a "luxury yacht" while the kids sabotage the corporate land grab — and in the end, honesty wins the day.

King of the Hill's grounded regional warmth × Bob's Burgers' loving family chaos. Absurd, heartfelt, and always on the little guy's side.
