Synopsis
“Sol Invictus: The Invincible Sun” is a post-apocalyptic science-fiction short film set in an undefined future where humanity becomes completely dependent on machines not only to survive, but also to think. The protagonist’s encounter with an ‘awakened’ man living inside a cybernetic forge will reignite in him the courage to feel human again and witness, for the first time, the rising sun: an act forbidden by the machines.
