After breast cancer, looking into a mirror is no longer an ordinary act.
After the Mirror brings together the real testimonies of two breast cancer survivors with the fictional journey of a woman confronting the changes left behind by the illness. Moving between memory, body, loss and resilience, the film explores the intimate struggle of recognizing oneself again.
Because surviving is not only about healing the body — sometimes, it is about finding the courage to face your reflection once more.
