Old Donald Dolphin beached himself after his partner Donna Dolphin died. Luckily, beachgoers spotted him and pushed him back out to sea. His good friends Flipper, and Phillipa dolphin organised an underwater sea concert for Donald to cheer him up. But before the big performance they needed a feed! Flipper practised his dancing twirls along the way and was oblivious to the shark nets up ahead. His mother Phillipa, tried to warn him, but it was too late, Flipper had become entangled in the nets and it was impossible for Phillipa to unravel them herself. They needed Sally the Swordfish to cut Flipper out with her sharp nose. While Flipper floated to the surface for air, Phillipa retrieved Sally. But in the meantime, Shawn the shark detected Flipper’s distress signals and was just about to make poor Flipper his little meal!! Sally spotted Shawn just in time and charged into him with her pointy nose to scare him away. Sally was able to cut Flipper free just in time for the concert!! As Donald arrived, they all took their positions, Olly the Octopus had her 8 arms on the piano keys, Sally the Swordfish began playing her nose on the violin, the seahorses tooted their trumpet noses, and crab played an electrifying performance with his nippers on the guitar strings. The dolphins danced in the middle and the clams clapped along. Donald was so happy he wanted to join in too!! Then Flipper and his mum invited Donald for a surf through the waves. Donald was so exhausted, so they headed for their seabeds. Flipper reminded Donald that they would always be there for him no matter what. Donald was so appreciative he replied, “You sure know how to cheer an old dolphin up!!” Then they all drifted off to sea-leep….
