Synopsis
Slottie Joe, a night-shift nurse, is consumed by slot machines and scratch cards, but his true temple of gambling is the horse racetrack.
Amid mud and desperate bets, he passively spirals into ruin. Hounded by loan sharks and running out of luck, one day he gets the chance to go all in and escape a cruel fate.
Under the watchful eyes of a State that profits from despair and addiction, Slottie Joe must reclaim his dignity as a citizen.
