Acadians from the island of Belle-Ile-en-Mer, France, visit their Acadian cousins in Canada for the first time. They walk on the land of their ancestors who lived here before the British deportations. They meet with local Acadians and participate at the World Acadian Congress. This film honors this dispersed people that still cherish their original culture.
