Synopsis
The account of a political and cultural defeat in the South of Italy. In the 70s communist members briefly succeed to govern Orta Nova. The dream of waking the city from its lethargy gets systematically shattered by deception and moral shallowness. Today older disenchanted they witness history repeating itself.
