Synopsis

What are the dangers of an online life in an era of physical distancing? A young woman struggles to find the boundaries between the virtual world and romance. Suffering from loneliness and longing for affection, Janelle finds herself reaching out to a friend she met through an online gaming forum called "Virtual Insomnia." She shares her feelings about a recent move to Montreal, and their romance culminates in a vast field of unknowns. Janelle finds herself discovering the difference between reality and the subjective.
