Ramón Aguirre, (57 years old) is an old actor from the Mexican Golden Cinema era whose years of fame are completely over. Locked on his department in Tacubaya, afflicted by his unfortunate physical condition, as well as by the resounding change suffered in his city, Ramón only has two hobbies left, writing in a
small diary his memories and regrets, mainly that of having lost the
love of his life, Silvia, and spying through a small crevice on his neighbor Pedro, which is a writer who suffers from artistic block and constant telephone fights with his fiancée, and with whom Ramón has developed a peculiar bond, despite never having exchanged a word with him.
Ramón gradually suffers more from the memory of Silvia's abandonment, while the relationship that he maintains with Pedro begins to reveal itself as something much darker and more emotional than he originally believed.
