Ωmega Ωne: of direct(((ive)))s, once removed emerges from intersection of gay tourist “thirst traps” shot in Chapada Diamintina (Igatu, Bahia, Brazil), Grindr longings, and Star Trek Voyager to examine histories of colonialism and desire. Recasting the politically and historically charged landscape of Chapada Diamintina as a “set” for occidental self-exploration, the project leans into the double-bind, and problematic power dynamics of locating and engaging narratives of queerness in spaces in which one may not belong.

SAISHO HA KAKUSEI — Saibā Riot (Official Music Video) 最初は覚醒 — サイバー・ライオット（オフィシャル・ミュージックビデオ）by Jonathan Carène This is the first official music video in hyper-real style set in the same world created as a solo work by Jonathan Carène for his newly launched Japanese anime series, Saibā Riot (Cyber Riot), an anime series built on a strong and singular visual identity, fluid storytelling, and high-end production quality, produced in original Japanese with an ongoing storyline planned across dozens of five-minute episodes. The music video along with the anime series is produced through the use of several generative AI tools to assist the production while the creative process, technical skills, lyrics and narrative writing, image and video edit, art direction, narration, lyrics, prompt design and thousands of choices remain Human made. Saibā Riot, the series' first official music video, carries that world's founding act of disobedience into song and features the characters from the upcoming first season. The work shows that AI can generate multiple styles of content for the same IP, while producing pilot-like content that stands on its own for its uniqueness and brings the IP toward a wider audience. The video is built as a short film with a 45-second introduction scene, opening inside a crime lord's purple-lit sanctuary, a world of gilded excess and casual cruelty. Three women, Akira, Meika and Tokiko, enter as rebels here to restore balance: the activation of a small relic sends a wave of force through the room, and the household's careful order collapses into chaos. From there the film crosses into a second set, then the rebels' headquarters, and finally into the streets of Cyber City. The lyrics are built as an empowering anthem that defies authority and speaks to a wide audience. What begins as disobedience becomes a chorus: wake up, resist, revolt, face the authority.

Pillow Men is a short music video steeped in a dark, absurdist aesthetic. In a world governed by the Pillow System, people voluntarily don white square-shaped pillows, surrendering their consciousness to an AI system. Under the guise of benefiting humanity, the system distills individual skills, creativity, and emotions into replaceable tapes—archived and ready for deployment at any moment. The protagonist, a lone dissenter who refuses the pillow, is marked as a depreciated asset by the system, hunted, captured, and subjected to forced assimilation. She breaks free, sabotages the system's power core, and triggers a cascading collapse. Yet when she stands on an overpass looking down at the city, she discovers that those who had briefly awakened have, in the end, all made the same choice: to take it off or not. The film culminates in a solitary vocal performance amid a torrential storm—a modern fable about freedom, control, and the haunting question: Is blankness also a crime? All visuals in this film are AI-generated. Every stage of the production was handled by a single person.

It's a story of breaking free and running toward something no one else has defined. With one relentless run, the protagonist answers every path others have laid out for her. "Further from the ground" is not about flight or escape. It is a restrained longing — the kind that belongs to those of us who do not want to be heroes, who simply want, in a moment when everything presses down, to lift our heads just enough to see a sky that belongs to us. What this MV captures is exactly that moment of looking up. Blue is the color of discipline. But warmth, all along, has been growing. Trapped by discipline, she breaks through the boundary set for her — not by rebellion, but by exploiting the very logic meant to confine her. This film was inspired by the "Doomsday Clock," with mounting concerns as the time nears midnight. Mine is a very personal dreamlike, surreal approach to disturbing subject matter: civil strife around the world, desecration of the environment, climate change, but in the end as there always is in my depictions there's hope that collectively we can learn to live in harmony and peace. In addition to being a filmmaker I'm a painter. I used a number of paintings in this film as background motifs, faces, scenes and textures. Lastly, as in my last film I composed the sound before creating the scenes. The audio sequences conjured up the visuals.

Just A Walk is a ten-minute jazz-and-salsa musical set in 1960s New York — part Fred Astaire, part La La Land, part Harlem block party that nobody planned and everybody needed. It is romantic, absurd, and ends on a brownstone stoop in the blue dusk of 118th Street with a line about cheeseburgers that means something else entirely. It is also the first musical ever made entirely with AI. Every frame generated. Every note scored. Every dance, every street corner, every pigeon — AI. No cameras. No crew. No budget that would frighten a reasonable person.

One morning John woke up with an itchy ear. He scratched it and it fell off his head. He put it in a safe spot so it could be re-attached later. But Ear was getting bored. Then he heard music playing at the local pub, so he followed the music and met a lovely set of Lips at the bar. They began talking with eachother and other body parts before John races in to grab ear so he could be stitched on in time. But John had to promise he would return to the pub after recovery. John returned to the pub after surgery and caught up with Alecia (Lips) for a drink and a dance. After that John always kept an ear out for fun!
