This documentary exposes just how much it really costs to enter the Ivy League gates. In the past decade, the cost of higher education has skyrocketed. The financial burden being placed on the new generation of scholars has forced students to make difficult decisions to pay the bills. Accrue enormous financial debt, don’t attend university, or enter the underground world of sex, drugs, and student loans. This documentary chronicles the lives of three female university students who decided to enter the illicit world of drug dealing and sex work in order to pay for their education.

October 2011, nine months after the Tunisian Revolution of January 14, Tunisian women are running for the elections of the Constituent Assembly, some are from political parties, some are complete novices, some are activists of the early hours who joined parties to be part of the lists in the running and others are running as independents. They are in campaign, they criss-cross the Tunisian cities and villages, do meetings, door-to-door, enter the cafes "men", stick themselves their posters and distribute their leaflets. Who are they, what path has brought them to the political arena, what are their motivations and their weapons to lead such an unprecedented battle?

This two-hour special voyages with underwater explorer Barry Clifford as he dives for treasure on sunken pirate ships and reveals secrets on land of hidden pirate tunnels, forbidden graveyards and mysterious symbols. Interlaced with reenactments of the pirates’ lives and exploits in the busy shipping lanes of the Indian Ocean, Pirate Island offers a wealth of modern-day adventure.

Rubber's Kastom

The film describes the processes involved in Lak funeral or mortuary rituals. The various stages of the rites are presented in combination with an overview of the political and social setting against which the rites are usually performed. As a background to the ritual processes described in the first half of the film, Rubber details his aspirations for his own ritual. He describes how he came to be one of the leading practitioners within the secret men's society and a man of political and social importance. The second half of the film shows the complete ritual process as it was performed "by Rubber for Rubber" in January 2005.

Litania

The video is filmed in Medjugorjie, Bosnia, known for being place of the apparitions of the Virgin Mary and, nowadays, as an important destination of Catholic pilgrimage. Immersed into a stream of sound, pilgrims climb to the mountains, at the feet of statues. In front of these icons, they compose their thoughts in prayer; around them, slowly, it gets dark. In its cadence, Litania is a gradual fading to black of the frame.

The image created by this app gives a nostalgic touch of the old-film like texture. Despite the nostalgic feel, this is the result of an artificially made virtual world created by the smart phone – a high-tech device.

Lesser Apes

Lesser Apes tells the story of a love affair between a primatologist, Farrah and a female bonobo ape, Meema. Bonobos are the species with which humans share the most DNA, but unlike our species, they are matriarchal, live without conflict, and are unabashedly sexual. A paean to perversion, the film combines animation, live action and song to challenge attitudes about sex, language and our relationship to nature.
