Made by Andrés Denegri in 2008, working with Super 8mm loops and video. Final version in 35mm. Synopsis In Latin America, the 70s and 80s were years darkened by military dictatorships, which forced a policy of terror and extermination. Many of those who lived their childhood during that period have a personal history built as an extremely complex plot. Grito works with throbbing autobiographical memories and Images that resound in the head and block the throat. It is the last step in a series of audiovisual reflections about the relationship between identity, ideology and affection. A Super-8mm and a low-quality digital video entwine in the anachronistic construction of the familiar recollection.

"Iraqis in Multi-classes Exile" is documentary exploring the fragmented lives of Iraqi intellectuals exiled in Damascus, Syria, many of whom fled Iraq in the 1970s and 1980s under political and social duress. At its core, the film examines the psychological and existential burden of exile, especially through the lens of names and identity. Several of the film’s protagonists have lived under pseudonyms for decades, adopting fictional names to survive politically, socially, or artistically in a country that is not their own.

The Be2gether music and arts festival in Lithuania was the first open-air festival of its kind in the Baltic states. With the slogan "Music opens borders," the event encouraged people to come together regardless of their nationality, cultural, social, or religious differences. Surrounded by the Belarusian border and closely monitored by the Lithuanian and Belarusian security services, the festival brought together thousands of music lovers from different countries to the meadows of Norviliškis Castle for four years.

João Ricardo de Barros Oliveira defines himself as a musician-sound-sculptor and lives surrounded by materials, which he criteriously gathers from dumps and trash containers. He makes vulgar trash the basis for his art, out of objects considered useless he builds sound sculptures with which he performs on stage, in concerts and in workships. Born in Viana do Castelo, he left early to discover other universes, but it was in Berlin that he settled and built his sound workshop. Without an instruction manual he slides some sounds over others and travels and it's a very peaceful journey.

Former governor Arthur A. Link has become virtually a mythic figure in the North Dakota consciousness. Art Link was governor of North Dakota during the first great energy crisis in the 1970s. On October 11, 1973, Governor Link delivered what is widely regarded as North Dakota's "Gettysburg address". His credo, written in the margins of his prepared speech moments before he was introduced, is known by its opening phrase: "When the landscape is quiet again." This is the story of that man, that speech, and the landscape that inspired it.

2008 release

On October 26th, 2008, H.E.A.T. fans witnessed a rare and unexpected show at Firefest, Nottingham. The band had been brought in as a last-minute replacement for Pretty Maids, who were grounded by flight cancellations. Just two days before the concert, frontman Kenny Leckremo required heart surgery, leaving H.E.A.T. without a singer. Stepping up was Eclipse’s Erik Martensson, who handled several H.E.A.T. songs and a cover of Europe’s “Cherokee,” before Pekka Heino of Leverage and Brother Firetribe joined for Whitesnake’s “Fool For Your Loving” and Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer.” Erik then returned for a duet on Journey’s “Separate Ways,” closing the night with H.E.A.T.’s “Never Let Go.” Setlist: "There for You", "Late Night Lady", "Straight for Your Heart", "Cherokee" (Europe cover), "Fool For Your Loving" (Whitesnake cover), "Livin' on a Prayer" (Bon Jovi cover), "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" (Journey cover), "Never Let Go"
