"The Strangest Viking" is a Secret History TV documentary about Ivarr the Boneless. Nabil Shaban presents the theory that a war leader of Danish Vikings, Ivarr the Boneless, who invaded and conquered parts of England in 865 A.D. was not only crippled, and had to be carried into battle on the back of a shield, but also believed (by various medical historians) that he had been born with the congenital disability known as Osteogenesis Imperfecta, "brittle bones" - the very same disability that Shaban has.

With no plot or characters, this experimental film captures the landscape of a housing project, as well as the varied possibilities arising from its visual impact on the landscape. The reason why I chose a housing project as my subject is because I used to live in one and, even now, am strangely drawn to them. I also suspect that regardless of one’s nationality, the housing project is an archetypal environment universally recognizable to those of my generation. Without using spoken words, this film is a dedication to the housing project and those people of my generation all over the world.

The most striking thing about observing Niagara Falls is that they don’t seem to be falling at all. Being so vast they give the impression of doing just the opposite. This idea comes to mind and the body to feel elevated and rotated with its force. Like as ‘look’ is to ‘leap’, naming this portrait of Niagara’s water-ous site, “Fl.oz” is descriptive by way of a metaphoric matrix of bubbly spit volleyed from the tip of the tongue to contribute to all the world’s great oceans in a barrel-suited outfit of onomatopoeic humor, is an attempt to allude to all that is other than looking that has to do with apprehension.

A documentary that traces the history of Club Q, the legendary dance party for lesbian women and their friends. Held on the first Friday of every month, Q attracted over 1,000 lesbian women of all colors, ages, sizes and backgrounds, to dance, sweat and celebrate inside the pulsating beat of high-energy dance music. Q was a one-of-a-kind phenomenon for two reasons: First, because of the sheer number and diversity of lesbian women who attended. And second, because of its longevity - the club lasted for 15 years! Q's ability to maintain not only its diverse clientele, but also its vitality in San Francisco's ever-changing club scene made it a cultural and historical marvel.

They were to become the first balloonists to fly over Mount Everest.
