What happens when two Latino leathermen get caught up in the intersection of culture, kink and desire? Peek inside the back room while our heroes prepare for a night of hard-hitting, paddle-wielding action. The shattering climax will leave you reeling in disbelief.

An anthology of tests of the Hypergonar system, ancestor of the CinemaScope, invented late in the 1920s by French astronomer Henri Chrétien. Anamorphosis-- That is, the deforming an image and then straightening it using a suitable mirror-- was once a popular curiosity. Henri Chrétien imagined lenses that make it possible to anamorphose the image when shooting, then to de-anamorphose it when projecting. Shot by Chrétien between 1938 and 1949, "Vues Hypergonées", as the film is also known, was restored in 1999 by the French Cinémathèque from a 269-meter nitrate copy, for the retrospective “Jeune, Dure et Pure! A history of avant-garde and experimental cinema in France".

Between April and November 1991, Hafif, who was living in New York at the time, wrote a series of letters to a friend in Paris, writer Jean-Charles Masséra. Letters to J-C #6 (Coney Island (1991-1999) tells the story of an excursion to the beach on the coast of Brooklyn. The film opens with Hafif in Manhattan. As she takes the metro to Coney Island, the voice-over narrator starts guiding us through her journey.

Statistics, split images, words and flesh meld together making this short film long on compassion, screaming out for help and recognition of the mentally ill's dream of someday having a normal life.

Nana Swiczinsky photocopied her original, geometric cell (a black ellipse) and during the process moved it around resulting in deformations. The images so formed are put into short series, so that the order given to the variations result in more or less continuous movement. It is a re-translation of the manipulation during the photocopying process into cinematographic movement. The animation results in vibrations and distortions of the graphic screen, it warps the two-dimensional surface into quixotic impressions of space and at times completely dissolves the strict geometry into flowing lines.

For the Fulani nomads of West Africa cattle are their life-blood. To make way for rice-farming, they must move their herds seasonally, but this annual migration has been disrupted by years of drought. Traditional routes may or may not yield green pastures and enough water for the people and their cattle to survive the dry season. Enter modern satellite imagery, and with it, the ability to see the entire region and its resources from space. THE COW JUMPED OVER THE MOON documents the interaction between the tradition-based knowledge of West African nomads and the advanced technological knowledge of the United States, represented by agencies such as NASA and NOAA (the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Agency). Connected by an extraordinary program that aims to preserve the "old" by using the "new," these radically different sets of information are expressed in contrasting images - from thousands of cows swimming the Niger River to enormous satellite dishes scanning the night skies.

A loose interpretation of the Minoan myth, as seen through the monster's point of view. Abandoned in a labyrinthine island, the childlike minotaur has as his only companion a playful red ball and a multitude of mirrors. When he sees his own image he imagines himself dancing in perfect synchronicity with a mysterious other. But new characters are brought to the island, and they don't behave like his choreographed twins. Confused and frustrated, the creature has to learn to adapt to a world of uncertainty. But when he can't, the monster's true nature is revealed. Most of the character animation was originally hand-drawn on a light table, cut out and mounted on rigid cardboard. This was done so that each replacement could stand up vertically within a three-dimensional set. The set was then lit with fibre-optic lights and shot in stop-motion, using a 16mm Bolex camera. Some of the animation was done as hinged cut-out puppets on glass, using a multi-plane rig.
