The connection between the two projects marks the meeting of two landmark names on the Italian alternative scene: on one side Delta V, recognised for their elegant and intimate sonic explorations, and on the other Mao, a singer-songwriter and versatile artist among the leading figures of the golden age of MTV Italy and of Italian alternative culture between the 1990s and the 2000s. The artistic bond indeed traces its roots back to that very period, beginning with their collaboration on the track 𝘓𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘴𝘢, featured on the Milan-based band’s album 𝘗𝘴𝘺𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘵, for which Mao wrote and performed the lyrics. To this is added his appearance in the music video for 𝘭𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘰 𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘰, a special guest role alongside Angela Baraldi and Garbo, which helped to cement a creative bond destined to resurface over time.
